This wine is characterized by a strong, slightly tannic body, a rich and fruity flavor and a bright red colour.
The Fontino DOCG wine is the right choice with Tuscan dishes such as “Fiorentina” steak, “Tagliata” oven-baked meat, the Tuscan soup, the “Ribollita” soup and all kinds of game. It is also indicated with the “Cacciucco” – a famous Italian fish soup – either in the Livorno or Viareggio versions.
We suggest to serve it at room temperature.
